A long day of installing sensors
Finally, we have all four sensors installed after a long day of debugging and fixing many issues that we were faced with for the first time. Demo Day, here we come!

The sensors work!
Through some hardware modifications (cutting traces and adding a few capacitors) we were able to somewhat reduce the electrical noise on the photo diode. The remaining noise was compensated by various calibration techniques (built-in into the AFE IC). We were able to get the sensors running and get distance measurements.

Difficulties with noise
The board layout is not optimal and we are experiencing some problems with the sensors. We are working on reducing the electrical noise on the receiver photo diode through different PCB modifications and reworks.

First sensor module assembled
We have received the PCBs and all of the components, and assembled one board for testing. Seems to be working as expected so far.

Sensor module design ready
The schematics and layout for the sensor module are now complete and the board was sent to fabrication. Estimated arrival of the PCBs in about 8-10 days from today.

Progress with schematics design
We have had a significant progress last week with the schematic design of the sensor module. Both the ToF AFE and the microcontroller schematics are finished. The only things left on the schematic side of the sensor module are the power management and solar charging circuits.
