I’m Pratishtha Agnihotri, a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at Electrical & Computer Engineering department, University of Utah working with Prof. Priyank Kalla. I'm working on developing VLSI-style design-for-test (DFT) techniques for silicon photonic circuits, with a long term goal of building CAD tools for automating testing in photonics.
In Spring 2023, I worked as Research Co-op at Raytheon Technologies Research Center on heterogeneous photonic integrated circuits primarily focussing on designing lithium niobate based Mach-Zehnder modulator, ring modulator, second harmonic generation (SHG) and difference frequency generation (DFG) devices.
Prior to joining UofU, I have five years experience of teaching undergraduate courses at AKTU. Courses include Optical Communication, Integrated Circuit Technology, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Fundamentals of Electronic Devices, and Digital Logic Design.
My Master's degree thesis "Performance Analysis of SAC-OCDMA with Dynamic Cyclic Shift (DCS) code" focussed on OCDMA transmission. I have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
