Ray Tracing Project 6: Space Partitioning


This project was fairly simple for me because the BVH code Cem provided did most of the work.

It actually worked on the first try.


Render times listed below only include actual rendering, not scene file or output image I/O.

All the images were rendered with 4 render threads on my late 2011 Macbook Pro with the following specifications:

Color Image

Render time with BVH: 0.940 seconds
Render time without BVH: 65.465 seconds
