This Lunar Lander has been the most challenging program, yet. Not because it was difficult, really. It was "eaten up" by the server not once, but twice. I've recreated the artwork yet a third time and as they say, it's been the charm.

The Lunar Lander has a lot of functionality that's not obvious from the outset. Of course it zooms and includes custom art. It also has a fancy Hurray or Too Fast that drops if you succeed or not in landing your lander. It also tracks if your lander goes off the screen and gets lost. I re-used a lot of the code from the Fireworks exercise. The game keeps score and resets after three losses. If you lose three times in a row, you lose the game, however, if you succesfully land, you get an additional 1000 added to your fuel.
