Students may register for this seminar for 1, 2, or 3 credits. Expectations for the class will be as follows: For the presentations, each student will be expected to present the material associated with one topic (i.e., one week's worth of material listed on the schedule). For the projects, each student may propose a project idea based on their own interests, which will then be negotiated with the instructor to make sure that the proposed project is relevant to the seminar material, and that the size and scope of the project are appropriate.

Cheating of any kind will not be tolerated. Any assignment, exam, or project that is handed in must be your own work!! However, talking with one another to understand the material better is strongly encouraged. Recognizing the distinction between cheating and cooperation is very important.
