CS 6635/5635 Visualization for Scientific Data

Course Description: Visual analysis of data
is important to most areas of science, engineering, and medicine.
Accordingly, students in this course have a variety of backgrounds,
expertise, and needs. We will cover topics common to many areas of
visualization, while at the same time, allowing individuals to learn
specific techniques and/or applications via a visualization project.
In this course, we will focus on visual analysis algorithms,
techniques, and software used for applications in science,
engineering, and medicine.
Lectures: Mondays/Wednesdays, 1:25pm - 2:45pm, 1230 WEB
Professor Johnson: Mondays between 3:00
- 4:00 p.m. and by appointment
