Creating PDFs
Hi all,
Just an FYI for future assignments, if you're having trouble exporting to a .pdf – i.e. your program is messing up the fonts or images – here are a couple tricks:

On a Mac, you can always print to a .pdf, no matter what program you're in (it's a OS X thing). I've found that this is often more reliable than using programs' "Export to PDF" options.

On Linux and Windows, you can add a PDF "printer" to your system. For Linux, you need to install this package:
Code:
sudo apt-get install cups-pdf

For Windows, you can install CutePDF Writer, though be aware that the installer ships with bloatware – make sure to uncheck these options in the installer! There are also some alternative workarounds here if you find CutePDF Writer unpalatable.

Please comment if you know any other tricks.
